200 Miles – Charging Issues
Around 200 miles I noticed an issue when charging my 2018 Pacifica Hybrid. So far I had only tried charging at a public charging station but now I had my home charger installed. I’d plug in the charger, and the car would confirm that it’s charging. After about 5-10 seconds, the car would make a loud click noise and would stop charging. This would always happen the first time I plugged it in. The second time, it would work and would keep charging. I thought that it might be my Siemens charger but then when I charged at another public charger, it also happened. From that point on, I considered it an issue.
This issue finally went away when I took it in for service the first time at 320 miles.
